The Ellen Terry Building
In honour of the musician, her portrait was spray- painted on to the side of the University Building on International Women's Day 2018. Stewy, the anonymous street artist behind the artwork, said: “Delia was an innovator in so many ways, as a woman and a musician and that’s what my work is about, people who push the boundaries.
Born in Coventry in May 1937. She has been referred to as the female heroine of Electronic music, most famously known for her work at BBC’s Radiophonic Workshop in the 1960s, and her composition of the Doctor Who Theme song.
